Pop Up Shakespeare at Polesden Lacey continues in the sunshine

Clear blue skies over the beautiful gardens at Polesden Lacey ( National Trust), welcomed the very popular “ Pop Up Shakespeare” for the fifth year running, presented by the educational charity, Polesden Lacey Shakespeare, in collaboration with the Cat’s Grin Theatre Company.

Short scenes are played out in the gardens during the afternoon from the Bard’s best loved plays, including a  special child friendly adaptation  of Macbeth, short excerpts from Romeo and Juliet and also from Twelfth Night, which is Polesden Lacey Shakespeare’s main production this year on the open air stage at the beginning of July.

Pop Up Shakespeare continues this Saturday 24th June, from 1.30pm, with scenes repeated throughout the afternoon and is free to all visitors to Polesden Lacey.

Twelfth Night is at 3pm on 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th July. For further information and tickets: www.polesdenlaceyshakespeare.co.uk
